Bio

Alexandrina Murphy predominantly uses photography and video
in her Philadelphia-based arts practice.

She is actively studying to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Studies
at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture, and is in her senior year.

Coming initially from an interest in punchy comics and weird cinema,
she has since shifted to developing work concerned with the overbearing terror
in this age of inescapable surveillance and virologically caustic memetics.

She still loves her weird, bad sci-fi movies,
and has not stopped reading her dumb comics.
